yes, we won the first place on the sayawit contest yesterday. so what? we still doesn't deserve it. Loyalty should, to be honest. :| yes, we did our best, our performance is well done but still. majority of if it is like being copied. many of my classmates are blaming our adviser for that. our costume (the skirt) is the same on Purity. our music, well. i can say all. as in ALL, including the first division. was also like on the others but this is what i am talking about. the arrangement. our first song was pipit. Loyalty's first song was also pipit. we have mamang sorbetero with almon pulling daniel as his container for sorbetes and loyalty also have that. it's just that, they have to sorbeteros. we have pink ribbons, loyalty also have ribbons, green ribbons though. they also have this song, tara na, byahe tayo. and what about for the section of Honesty? well, i don't know. i wasn't able to watch their performance because they were being followed by us so we were tired by then that we need to rest at the computer lab. but i can say they also have the same song with us which is the bonggahan. "wiw. wiw. wiw. wiw." this was the mocking being made for us the by the second sections. nanalo lang daw kami kasi first section. psh. oo, napapaniwala na kong totoo yun. :| kaya sabi tuloy ni lara sa tweet niya, "this was the saddest victory i've ever achieved. :("


the competition was a close fight though. so it's hard to choose on whether us or the loyalty should be the bearer of the price. but it's okay, we got the first prize. we all worked hard for this event. we practiced on school until night. we had so many misunderstandings. for every practice a day, the steps were changing and even the music arrangement is changing. we had four gay instructors. lahat na ata ng mura natanggap na namin mula sa kanila. chos. haha. we PERSPiRED a lot. tapos kami lang talaga yung kumakanta althroughout the performance. kaya nga tinawag na sayawit e. haha. kaya masasabi ko pa rin na kahit hindi namin masyadong deserve yung price, pwede na rin. we deserved it. nalamangan naman talaga namin yung iba pagdating sa ibang part nun performance e. i almost forgot to mention that one of the judges for the competition was sir Jayson Sabino, our AP teacher in sophomore. we would never forget that teacher. we had a lot of memories from him back in second year high. kaya malaki atraso namin sa kaniya. ekk! basta. we should be really happy that we won. acceptance is a must. it is done. so all we need to concentrate on next is our retreat which is to be held on September 3-5. :)
